"Sometimes being a brother is even better than being a superhero"
Raksha Bandhan is the celebration of the love of brother and sister. It is one of the auspicious festivals in India celebrated with great fun and excitement all over the country. In this festival, a sister ties the Rakhi thread on the wrist of her dearest brother and prays to God for his protection from all the evils and give him a long and prosperous life.
State Public School, Jalandhar Cantt organised an activity observing the true bond of brothers and sisters. The kids of kindergarten celebrated this occasion with the brave and courageous defence people of the army by tying Rakhi on their wrist. It's a fact that these soldiers are our lifeguards and real life heroes.
The President, Dr. Narotam Singh, Vice-President Dr. Gagandeep Kaur of Group of State Public Schools along with the Principal, Mrs. Savina Bahl appreciated the efforts made by the tiny tots in celebrating this eve in such a different way and passed their warm wishes on the occasion.
